We believe clothing should be intentional, timeless, and personal. We design pieces meant to be worn often, lived in, and kept for generations - for women who move forward with purpose and are unafraid to make their mark on the world.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
The brand is born from lineage and legacy, a name that intertwines our founder Janice with her great-grandmother, a trailblazing woman of rural 1900s China who fought for women’s rights during a time when it was not popular to do so.
Each piece reflects a modern expression of heritage where strength meets understated elegance.
All Natural Fibers
We use only natural fibers, with a special focus on exceptional silk. Every silk fabric is pre-treated to prevent shrinking and strengthen the fibers, allowing each piece to be worn and loved for a lifetime.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Every garment is developed over six to eight months, beginning with concept boards and early samples in muslin or deadstock. Designs are refined through extensive pattern work and fittings across different body types. Our process is intentionally slow, reflecting a commitment to craftsmanship and longevity.
